Creating Short Links

If you want to share your blog posts with others, but are concerned with the length of the web address, there are several methods of getting a short link.

The basic method is to:

1) Click on “Get Shortlink” below your post title (post must be published or saved to draft for this to work)

2) Copy shortlink (Ctrl + C) and click “OK”

3) Create Tweet and Paste (Ctrl + V) the link into your tweet.

Or, connect your Twitter account to your WordPress account, so when you create new posts they are automatically tweeted to your followers!
